Welcome to the youth page
Hi, we're Josh
and Kathy. We would like to take a minute to share a bit of where
our hearts are for the youth. We LOVE working
with the youth. We have some great ideas and we just can't
wait to put ideas into ACTION! The youth
group is designed to be a fun place where the youth love to come
and hang. We want it to be fun, but we do have some goals.
- #1 that the youth will come to really love God and know the
Word.
- #2 for the youth to be an active part of the church,
- #3 for them to step out into ministries of their own.
The youth are really excited about going this year. For those
of you that don't know, the ALIVE Christian
Music Festival is a three day music and camping adventure. There
will be much more to come on this as time goes on. The Youth group,
meets every Sunday morning (9am, yawn). So parents, if you
have a youth and they aren't there, blind-fold them, throw them
in the car, and bring them up to the church. (Or you could just
suggest they go… either way!)
We are so pleased with this group of young people in our church-body, as you
should be too. The Lord has truly blessed us. Amen! As they grow in the Lord,
please continue to pray. Good things are happening.
