Every Sunday morning at The Sanctuary wonderful songs of praise can be heard as the Music Ministry Team leads us in the newest and the latest contemporary worship songs as well as the dearly beloved hymns. Even though our sound is one of a young contemporary band, our worship team is foremost dedicated to leading the congregation to worship. We are transparent to each other, as well as to the congregation and sensitive to the Lord's leading.
A team coming together like this is no accident. It is a result of prayer. Pastor Art's heart's desire was to have a team that would be faithful, skilled and available. It was just a matter of time, one by one, as they began to attend The Sanctuary, a team of worship leaders was formed. We were amazed how the Lord brought together musicians from different walks of life and musical cultures to form a team with a great sound who ultimately sought to give Him glory. Now, we are even praying about creating a second ministry team to further our outreach opportunities. The Lord is indeed faithful. (please contact Pastor Art if you are interested in joining the team) The Sanctuary Worship Team always welcomes the privilege of ministering at youth rallies, camp retreats and other church functions through popular contemporary Christian music.
The Sanctuary worship team successfully combines the maturity of seasoned, experienced musicians with the enthusiasm of young talent. We are blessed to have Dave and Danielle Hinrich leading our team. Dave and Danielle are very talented young versatile musicians, vocalists, budding song writers, and have traveled the country with the Continental Singers. In addition, recently Dave has completed training at the Recording Workshop and is currently interning locally. We are also pleased to have joining us as our newest members, Scott and Tracy Blue. Scott is a talented musician, songwriter, and guitar instructor. Tracy sings backup and is also an experienced worship team leader. Pat on keyboard, and Brian on bass have many years experience in either rock bands or traditional church music. Also on board are alternate drummers Bill Whitacre and Dave Cambarare who really know how to rock the house. Indeed, all of us have a wonderful testimony of what the Lord has done for us. We are humble before the Lord and our focus is to lead others into true worship. Please read the bios for a closer look at our team.
